Laura Pérez Macho was born in Madrid, but she emigrated to Ireland and later to Germany, where she currently works and resides. She studied Geological Sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM).
Before starting university, she wrote her first novel, Donde mora la bestia (Where the Beast Dwells), which blends historical fantasy with Celtic mythology and is set in 15th century Scotland. It was published in 2016 by the Seleer publishing house; in 2021 it was reissued by Caligrama, including sheets and drawings of characters made by herself, and obtained the Talent Seal.
Also, in 2021 she published her Poemario: Vivir, Sentir, Morir (Poems: Live, Feel, Die) in audiobook format, with fantasy as the predominant genre.
She attended various writing workshops, narrative and novel planning courses taught by authors such as Arturo Pérez-Reverte, Clara Peñalver and Rosa Montero, among others.
In 2022 she published her second novel, Saol Eile, a psychological horror thriller in which the lives of various characters are intertwined and different topics are dealt with, such as reincarnation and past lives, for example.
Also during this year she published her first book of short stories "Sueños del más allá: relatos cortos" within the horror, fantasy and science fiction genres.
In this same year she decided to share her knowledge and writing experiences on her YouTube channel My Dark Library (Mi Biblioteca Oscura en Youtube), as well as with the launch of her first online course Convierte tus ideas en tu novela terminada (Turn your ideas into your finished novel) to help others write their works.
She is currently immersed in various co-writing projects touching on genres such as fantasy, mystery and autobiography from the perspective of the immigrant.
Her next novel, a cyberpunk dystopia, is in the writing phase.
Lastly, she is part of El Círculo de los 13 (The Circle of 13), collaborating in the creative part with the director and producer Giuseppe Giacri in a project that will be developed in a series of 13 chapters of the mystery, suspense and horror genre.
