Rosalyn Díaz Sulbarán was born in 1989, in Venezuela, where she lived until 2019, when she emigrated to Colombia to begin her literary career, the country in which she is based. She studied Geology in the city of Maracaibo, Venezuela, but in 2020 she decided to dedicate herself fully to writing.
In 2021, she won the ITA Editorial contest in Colombia, in the Love category with the work titled «El hilo rojo» («The red thread»). The publisher included it in the anthological book Season of Love, published that same year.
Her first novel, Todo lo que escondes (Everything You Hide), was published in 2022, by Grupo Letrame Publishing House, in Spain. She gave us an inspiring, powerful and passionate story, which conquers the hearts of her readers.
In 2022, she won the ITA Editorial contest in Colombia, in the Horror category with the work titled The Beast in the Forest, which will be published in another anthological book.
In April 2023, her micro-story, in the horror category titled Despertando (Waking up), was published on the social networks of Editorial Alas de cuervo and Grupo Editorial Letras Negras as a mention of the talent of new writers. This micro-story will be part of an anthological book of the Terror genre, and will be published by Editorial Alas de cuervo, at the end of 2023.
She is currently collaborating as a scriptwriter in the production of the series El círculo de los 13 (The Circle of 13), together with the director and producer Giuseppe Giacri. This project will be developed in a series of 13 chapters of the mystery, suspense and horror genre.
